Antonella Rubicco
Founder and CEO

Antonella Rubicco has been at the forefront of high-performance computing for more than 15 years and has led several companies to international prominence with her experience and knowledge about the markets, strategies, and trends driving the industry. Through both consultancy and in senior-level executive positions, she has successfully coordinated complex projects, developed key partnerships, and forged business relationships with other companies, universities and research institutes for the HPC hardware and high-speed interconnection markets.

As co-founder and CEO of A3CUBE Inc., Rubicco is responsible for executing the company’s line of solutions that use the power of parallelism to interconnect networks, server and storage architectures for big data applications, HPC and cloud/datacenters.

She previously served as COO and CIO of several corporations and was responsible for a myriad of activities including coordinating analysis, research and development, engineering and marketing of complex projects as well customer and supplier relationships within the HPC hardware and high speed interconnection markets.


Emilio Billi
Founder, Chief Technology Officer

With nearly two decades in the IT industry, Emilio Billi has proven knowledge of the high performance computing and datacenter markets. He has developed and designed numerous server and supercomputing systems, including massively highly parallel virtualized clusters and hyper-scalable storage systems as well as other high-performance interconnection and networking systems. He holds eight patents in computer architecture design and related technologies.

As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Emilio is responsible for the overall product development and technical direction of the company. Under his direction, A3CUBE is revolutionizing the marketplace for high performance data analysis and overcoming the challenges of scalable datacenter architecture and technologies.

Prior to founding A3CUBE, he ran his own engineering firm for a decade, where he developed the HiDRA personal supercomputer and software suite, the first practical and commercialized compact professional personal supercomputer. He is also one of the architects of the HyperTransport Consortium’s HyperShare scalable computing networking technology, and currently chairs the Hypershare Ecosystem - a subgroup that is in charge of fostering market adoption, implementation and integration of HyperTransport technology.

With over 30 years technology industry experience, Mark has extensive business management, global market, hardware and software product development and corporate governance expertise. Mark  is Principle of Peak Value Solutions, LLC, a technology management consulting firm, and President and Co-Founder of Adaptive Chips, Inc., an early-stage Silicon Valley, CA start-up. He is currently Board Director at Diablo Technologies, an Ottawa, Canada-based venture funded company developing memory channel storage solutions that increase application performance, system capacity and operating efficiency across enterprise datacenter applications and Board Chairman at Elliptic Technologies, an industry leader providing embedded security and content protection solutions for enterprise network, datacenter, mobile,  home entertainment and smart grid applications to a global customer base.

From December 2010 to January 2012, Mark was Board Director at Anobit Technologies Ltd, a Herzeliya Pituach, Israel based-company that successfully developed technology and products to optimize NAND-Flash storage systems across a broad set of consumer and enterprise applications. Anobit was acquired by Apple in January 2012. From December 2001 to September 2010, Mark was Corporate Officer, Vice President and General Manager of PMC-Sierra’s Enterprise Storage Division.  Prior to joining PMC-Sierra, he was Vice President and General Manager at Agere Systems (formally Lucent Technologies Microelectronics Group) from 1996 to 2001, with responsibility for Agere’s communications IC business  in data networking, networked computing and storage area network applications. Earlier, Mark was ASIC Product Line Director at AT&T Microelectronics and a member of AT&T Bell Labs technical staff for fifteen years.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College and is a member of the Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu engineering honor societies.
